CHILDREN’S DAY CELEBRATION

May 27th 2015 was the National Children’s day celebration in Nigeria. Over the years this celebration has come to stay in CHESS as children from the neighbourhoods all come to Catholic CHESS to celebrate with our children. This year, approximately a total of about 300 children joined in the celebration which was basically a party for children. The children were called forward group by group (depending on the age range) to dance. Various kinds of competitions were conducted during the dance
sessions and some children won prizes. All the children present were thereafter fed with rice and soda after which they were given gifts to take home.
